By registering or using Emplika (hereinafter, "the Platform"), the user expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions. Registration is only permitted for individuals over 18 years of age, whether individuals or companies.
2. Purpose of the Service
Emplika acts solely as a technological link between users seeking to offer or contract services.
The Platform does not contract, recommend, endorse, or guarantee any user, service, or publication.
3. Permitted Services
Users may publish and contract remote or in-person services, provided they are legal.
The publication of services related to weapons, drugs, sexual activities, fraudulent activities, or any other illegal service is prohibited under current legislation.
4. User Responsibilities
Each user is solely responsible for the veracity of the information they publish.
Emplika is not responsible for fraud, damages, losses, breach of contract, or any consequences arising from interactions between users.
Payments for services are made directly between the parties. Emplika is not involved in these transactions.
5. Memberships and Paid Services
The Platform may offer paid services, such as:
User and business memberships.
Featured posts or "upsells."
Fees for services managed through the Platform.
These payments are made through the methods enabled on the website and are non-refundable, except as expressly provided by law.
6. Posts and Moderation
Posts are automatically approved.
Emplika reserves the right to remove without prior notice any post or account that violates these Terms, contains false information, or poses a risk to the community.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of their content (e.g., CVs, descriptions, images).
By posting, you grant Emplika a non-exclusive, free license to display such content on the Platform, to companies/recruiters, and for internal promotional purposes (e.g., banners or Emplika campaigns).
Emplika will not use user CVs in external advertising.
8. Privacy and Personal Data
The use of personal data is regulated in the Platform's Privacy Policy. By registering, the user agrees to such processing.
9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Any dispute arising from the use of the Platform will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Salto, Uruguay, and Uruguayan law will apply.
